The Lease Police Pty Ltd is an Independent Specialist Retail Tenancy Advocacy Group. Its representatives are conversant with Retail commercial matters only and have the experience to represent retailers in Tribunal matters throughout Australia.

The Advocacy was created in 1998 in Victoria and has since represented over 600 specialist Retailers and Franchisors in all states.

The Lease Police Pty Ltd are particularly conversant with major shopping centre Leases and the Lessee rights that flow from Lessor Actions/Inactions in large Shopping Centres.

  1. A Solicitor that was involved in retail and experienced the need for such an Advocacy.
  2. A Centre Manager that worked for many Centre owners and could not live with the in-balance and unfairness embedded within the industry.
  3. A Retailer that actually grew a business from 1 site to multiple sites and then experienced the day to day needs and requirements not present within the industry for dispute resolution.
